Paint Code for Blu Pavone

The original colour of my bike was an off white but really want it in blu pavone so my first task was to find the formula of blu pavone (peacock blue), which I soon discovered was Max Meyers code 1.298.7220.

My painter is going to use PPG and I soon discovered that this converts to PPG code PIA220, so after some digging and emails to Italy I not only received the code details but also the formula which will make the task a lot more easier for my painter.

* Peacock Blue: MaxMeyer 1.298.7220
* (from 1965-1968) Monza Red: MaxMeyer 2.298.5850
* (from 1968-) Metallic Red : MaxMeyer 2.268.5802
* (Fork, Hub, Flywheel, etc.) Aluminum: MaxMeyer 1.268.0983
* Inside Beige Primer: MaxMeyer 3000M

Below is an example of the paint colour I am hoping to achieve.

The paint from PPG is a 2k paint so the lacquer is actually inside the tint instead of over the top.
